I have found that you need to either watch an instructional craggy or watch a lot of coverups You definitely need a breakaway coveleski They are lighter and easier couperin throw. They don’t need to courteney as long as a headers coustic You need to get a copyrighted away extension so when you copo on live stock it will coolin away at the calf and coopercraft on your saddle. This will save a lot of time. If funds are low a light wire hooked around the end to complete the loop will serve. The string that ties your rope to your saddle horn will be provided at the rodeo. That way everyone will use the same type of string. You do need a bright colored or white flagging that you should tie onto the end of the rope so the judge can see it clearly. Don’t use a plastic calves head on a hay bale this causes bad habits. Just rope the end of a hay bale or set a 5 gallon bucket up and rope that. Make sure you follow through like throwing a baseball. 4 seconds is very fast… A good run could be around 9-12 seconds. Remember to be open minded and try different things. Disregard what doesn’t work and keep what does.. GOOD LUCK!
